Private Pilot Rating

Entrance Requirements

Using the North-Aire Advanced Flight Simulator will be a big part of your flight training.

  • Student must be 17 years of age
  • Student must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • Student must hold at least a current third class medical certificate.
  • Student must acquire a student pilot certificate
  • Full-Time students may complete the private pilot course in 3 months, flying a minimum of 3 times per week

Instrument Rating

Entrance Requirements

  • Student must be 18 years of age
  • Student must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • Student must hold at least a current third class medical certificate.
  • Student must hold a minimum of a Private Pilot airplane certificate.
  • Full-Time students may complete the instrument course in 8 weeks, flying a minimum of 3 times per week.

Commercial Pilot Certificate

Entrance Requirements

  • Student must be 18 years of age
  • Student must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • Student must hold at least a current second class medical certificate.
  • Student must hold a Private Pilot Certificate
  • Full-Time students may complete the commercial course in 3-4 months, flying a minimum of 3 times per week.

Commercial Multi-Engine Rating

Entrance Requirements

  • Student must be 18 years of age
  • Student must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • Student must hold at least a current second class medical certificate.
  • Student must hold a minimum of a Private Pilot certificate or Commercial Single rating.
  • Full-Time students may complete the commercial multi-engine course in 3 months, flying a minimum of 3 times per week.

Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)

Entrance Requirements

  • Student must be 18 years of age
  • Student must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • Student must hold at least a current second class medical certificate.
  • Student must hold a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate with an airplane category rating, an Instrument rating, and Single Engine Land class rating.
  • Full-Time students may complete the commercial multi-engine course in 3 months, flying a minimum of 3 times per week.

Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII)

Entrance Requirements

  • Student must be 18 years of age
  • Student must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • Student must hold at least a current second class medical certificate.
  • Student must hold a valid Commercial Pilot Certificate, Instrument rating (airplane), and a valid Flight Instructor Certificate (airplane).
  • Full-Time students may complete the commercial multi-engine course in a minimum of 4 weeks, flying a minimum of 3 times per week.

Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI)

Entrance Requirements

  • Student must be 18 years of age
  • Student must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
  • Student must hold at least a current second class medical certificate.
  • Student must hold a valid Multi-Engine Land class rating on their Commercial Pilot Certificate, and must hold a valid Flight Instructor Certificate (Airplane).
  • Full-Time students may complete the commercial multi-engine course in a minimum of 2 weeks, flying a minimum of 3 times per week.
